Association for Peace, Education, and the Arts through Resonance
Hearts that resonate with each other,
Playing the melody of peace.
Collaboration that transcends borders, starting with music, art, and choral singing.
PEAR is an organization that creates a space where young people from Japan and around the world can meet, learn from each other, and express themselves together through music and art.
ABOUT PEAR
Why consider peace through music?
A harmony is created by listening to each individual's voice and coordinating our breathing.
PEAR creates opportunities to learn about different cultures and values and to respect each other's differences through the experience of singing and expressing oneself together.
Expressing oneself through one's own voice. Collaborating with others. We will use these experiences to broaden the potential of young people and connect them to learning that fosters mutual understanding and peace.
WHAT WE DO
Turning music into a place for encounters and learning.
From learning before meeting to singing together and reflecting on our interactions, we value the connections that go beyond just the performance.
Exchange Program
Cultural exchange, dialogue, and collaborative activities with youth choirs and artists from overseas.
Workshop and collaboration
Choral workshops, joint rehearsals, and stage performances with Japanese children, students, and university students.
Inspiring experiences through "co-creation"
An opportunity to learn about world cultures, languages, history, multicultural coexistence, and mutual respect.

Bring soul-stirring voices to Japan!
I want to make a Japan tour for the Zolani Youth Choir from South Africa a reality.
In the spring of 2027, we aim to welcome the Zolani Youth Choir to Japan for a tour where they can sing together with Japanese children and fellow choir members. We are currently raising funds through crowdfunding to cover travel expenses and other costs for the 13 members to come to Japan.
Exchange through music and art,
Shall we make it together?
To school and education officials, choirs, and community groups.
Please contact us regarding projects involving music and art, such as international exchange programs for young people, choral workshops, and collaborative performances. First, please tell us what you are currently considering.
